I've noticed this about 3 or 4 times in the past two weeks. Occassionally when I pull into my driveway and shut the car off, right before I get out of the car the hazards will flash (at least I'm seeing both turn signal indicators blink) one time and stop. Has any one else ever experienced this? I've yet to be able to purposely reproduce this issue. I know it sounds far fetched, but it's really doing it.

 

I had that happen to me last night but I know I hit one of the buttons on the remote shutting the car off. Maybe that what you are doing before getting the key out of the ignition.

 

you're accidently hitting the unlock button when you're reaching for the key. I've done it many times too and was like "WTF?"

 

*slaps head*

Duh, that makes perfect sense, I've been doing it periodicly going WTF?!

Hey man, don't feel bad, I did the exact same thing but worse! I HAD JUST pulled out of the dealership. I'm feelin all cool, people are lookin at the new car... new tags... wondering what it is. ..........

I turn on the radio .... hazards flash.
I'm like... wtf
I turn up the volume.... hazards flash.
I'm like wtf
I change the station..... hazzards flash.... WTF.

I did this about 15 times before I turned around to tell my dealer something was really really messed up on my tC. LUCKILY before I actually got there I realized I was being a tard and I realized my err.

 

I've hit the button with my knee quite a few times.
