wow, never heard of this company, but that stealth box is great looking and exactly what I was looking for.

I say go for the bass for now, getting a header can cause emissions problems, possibly void your warranty and (from rumors I've heard) worsens your gas mileage.

A new speaker setup, does none of that.

Am I the only one that laughed at this? You have your list of mods in your sig, and its nothing special, no offense. Carbon is right, you probably would lose to most SUVs on the road. If you are concerned about being faster than the guy next to you then damn, that sucks. You are slow as hell.

speakers do loose you gas mileage...atleast mine did...b/c with more electronics your engine must work harder to charge the alternator which takes gas...also the added weight of subs is more weight the car has to pull which will lower gas mileage....of course i probably have it more noticeable than the topic starter will since i have 2 MTX9500s and 3amps lol.

I'm going to call BS on this one.

The weight of your speakers will cause more fuel consumption, not the increased current draw on the alternator.

In my opinion, rear spears are only for fill. Concentrate on the fronts. I've got a set of Alpine type R components in the front (tweeters in the A pillars) and the sound is quite good. Any properly amplified component speakers with proper positioning and tuning will sound much better than stock (Provided you've already upgraded your head unit).

I haven't heard the newer ED components but the 6500's sounded very nice. You've got 2 choices with their new lineup, let your budget decide.

umm i bet the alt. drawing more current for bigger amps might affect the gas mileage, not much but... ever notice what the ac does to it?

doing n/a mods to a tc are almost pointless, vote for susp. and stereo myself....

stereo, buy good stuff once rather than going ok then upgrading later.... e3.65's will work for most, and the amps are on great price reductions @ the moment... i wouldnt run rear speakers myself.

I've heard of people putting 6x9's in the rears, there is a decent amount of room. I'm sure with some rings and creative mounting, you could get pretty much anything back there.
