Default Header to S-pipe question

im in the process of putting my car back to stock so i can sell it. I put the stock header and s-pipe back on today and i can't seem to get a good fit between the the two. the spring loaded bolts fasten down all the way and theres still plenty of wiggle room. Does anyone know if there was a gasket in between this connection, or if anyone had this problem in the past could throw in some input and let me know how they fixed it?

i used a liquid gasket maker to fix the problem for now but that doesnt last very long on exhaust pieces.

thanks!

its a dealer only item also. Ive needed one for a while. Theyre somewhere around $35-40 depending on which stealership you go to.

Not too many aftermarket companies make 2 1/8" donut gaskets either.

Donut gaskets shouldn't be dealer only. Check exhaust shops.

And high temp gasket maker will last quite awhile

i dont think that there should be liquid leaking from you header spipe area, that dont sound right at all. and yeah there should be a gasket between the engine/header the header/spipe the spipe/midpipe the midpipe/axel-back, types and sizes vary. go to midas they charged me $5 for my gasket when i replaced it.

mmmm yea nvm i think its from the s-pipe to the mid pipe... my friend didnt tightin the screws i guess? so air comes out from my passenger side cause that side of the pipe isnt tightly closed... and i guess when i park the car over night it just dumps all the dirty stuff from the pipe..
