Default headlight adjustment

ok, so i tried adjusting my headlights and what the heck.....they don't move when i turn the screw!!! i'm pretty sure i'm turning the right one because i looked on that trdsparks.com how to sheet and it's the same one i'm turning. i put in HID's and i want to lower the beam a little....what is wrong?

turn the lights on about 25-30ft away from a wall. tape a certain area (top of cutoff) for a guide on both headlights. then mess with the screw, i dont remember which way is what.

ive been wondering about this too. so say you're 30 feet away from the wall, how high should the cutoff be. and should it be totally flat? ive noticed i get alot of people flashing their highbeams at me on highways. my cut off isn't flat first of all. its kinda like this

Clockwise should aim the beam up and counter clockwise down. You have to turn the hell out of the screw for adjust because one turn of it only threads out/in a small amount.
