I went to McDonalds today in the shady part of town. I parked at the end of the row and went in. I ordered my food to go and when I came out, my side mirror was broken!!! Not like.. glass shattered.. but the mirror is like.. broken apart from the body of the car.. like.. its not stiff anymore, if you go up to it and touch it, it is easily moved... I wanna try to fix it, but if worse comes to worse, does anyone know were I can get a replacement mirror... or an aftermarket mirror with nice leds like the one from clearcorners.com??? please help... It hurts...

 

if u want a replacement go to local toyota dealer....

just be glad your car was still there when you came out, or there wasn't somebody waiting for you in the back seat

get in touch with the dealer about the side mirror, it uses hard-wired bulbs that would need to be re-worked and I don't know if aftermarkets would work unless you rewired the whole thing

Nice start to a story................

I feel your pain. Mine was violated last night by a bike. Scratched to hell and dented. I say take it to Toyota and get it fixed. Might cost more but to have the OEM mirror is best.

Out of ALL the places you could possibly go in the shady part of town, Micky D's is probably the worst. Okay, the corner with the crack dealers and hookers is probably worse, but not much. I learned a while ago that if you want lunch in the shady part of town, hit up the neighborhood BBQ place (or similar popular neighborhood restaurant).

For the mirror, I don't think you have much choice yet besides the Scion replacement.
