not to sure how else to explain this but, when i floor the gas or just push it hard, something cuts out. Its like if i took my my foot off the gas only i still have the pedal to the floor. It happens while parked and while driving. ANBODY????

I do have a CEL on. But when i took it to have it read, the scanner didnt pick anything up. They checked the battery and its at 13.4v.

If you have a CEL, something is wrong. If they scanned it and found nothing - go somewhere else. Something is wrong.

with your CEL light on there is always a code. im not sure about toyota, but it might be a manufacturer code that can only be read with the mastertech scan tool(toyota+lexus), meaning the technician that looked at your car used a generic scan tool. either way a code should be there.
a car battery with excessive voltage will not cause a car to behave the way you described, it is normal for a batterys voltage to reach that high at certain periods. its just a rule of thumb that a car battery voltage should always be around 12.6v

Well the my battery normally pits out about 14v. The guy at autozone said that 13v's was low.

whoops my mistake a car battery is a 12v battery should it should be around 12.6v, so your battery voltage is a bit higher than 12.6 but its still good.

When the CEL is on, your ECU goes into a "safe mode" which probably limits everything to a lower point.

okay had the code checked somewhere else. It said it was caused by the MAF. And that the battery is going bad. Gonna try cleaning the MAF sensor now.

Yeah i just cleaned the sensor, and re connected the batt. Same issue. Do you think if my amp power wire saprked off the intake pipe it may have shorted/fried the sensor?
