Default HELP!

I recently got tint (2 days ago), and today was the first day I put my windows down. They went down fine, but when I tried putting them up, they wouldn't go up. All the "window stuff" down inside the door panel has come up, and now I don't know what to do. All shops are closed by now, and I need to have my windows up. Can I take off the door panel maybe and try fixing it?

Help is appreciated, THANK YOU!

Mine did that too. There is a piece that is rubber on one side, and like a felt on the other side. When the morons put the tint in, they don't put the felt side against the glass....so the rubber catches and rips it up.

Best way is just to pop off the door panel and fix it. ;)

I asked my tint guy, which obviously didn't know too much, about putting my windows up/down for the first couple of days....and he said it would be fine. But that's not what caused my issue, and more than likely not toeveryhour's issue.

They basically just have to pay attention when putting that rubber strip back in place.

My car was their 1st tC. :D Back in January 2005.

They ended up having to redo mine...within the first month. It had dirt between the tint and the window. When I took it back, they were like "Hmmn, i guess we didn't clean that window very good".

At least they fixed it free....just cost me more time.

When I had my tints done, they told me that I could put the windows down/up the second that I pick the car up. No problems whatsoever and they were relatively inexpensive...this place has been in business forever and it is their own 'secret' recipe. You all should find a place like that when doing tints.

OK! It's fixed. It turns out, my tC was the first Scion the guy at the shop had put tint on, so basically - he knew nothing. Fixing it - the door panels had to come off (both of them... grrr) and the window strip had to be put on correctly.

I was just worried because I had NO time to go and take it back to them. Ohwell, at least it worked out. Thanks guys!
