If your afraid of failing the test, your probably afraid of driving. When your comfortable with driving, you'll breeze through the exam. Practice, practice, practice.

I agree. I don't think new drivers should be driving new cars, even if mommy & daddy can afford it, unless they just absolutely don't care about wrecking a new car.

To answer the question, though, the only thing that will really help is experience and comfort behind the wheel. There's not really any substitution except maybe moving to a state like mine with an easier road test. That's not fun either when you see what all idiots it lets on the roads.

Not to sound like an ___ but it seems like your looking ahead to your new car too much. thats probably making you nervous. BTW if you pass the test it would probably be better for you to take a junker out to drive for a while to get a feel for traffic before you get your tC. Because all we need out there is another smashed up tC.

Dude, you think about a Jetta when you take the test, you fail. Now that you've got tC on the brain, you'll definitely pass. Man, why would you ever want a jetta? an 85 jetta was my first car, and that thing was horrible, it had a govenor on it at 78.

Yeah I don't know what I was thinking. Like for my birthday I wanted a mazda 3 but I didn't pass the road test then I saw the new jetta then I wanted that then I didn't pass. THen my friend took me to see the TC and fell in love. So we'll see if I can pass and see what my parents think about it

Try not to focus on failing so much. So what that you failed the first two times. Im sure you learned something from failing. I bet you wont repet the same mistakes. Also remember to breath...

If you've got a practice permit, why don't you practice all the crap that you've gotta do in the test until you get it right 100% of the time?
