Help! Installing new rear lights
take off the rear bumper (2 screws up top, 2 in the wheel wells)
open up those little side pieces in the hatch (the pieces you remove to gain access to the taillight bulbs) and there you'll find that the taillight is held in place by 3 10mm nuts. remove those.
taillight should pull out now and once it does, disconnect all the wiring and you're good to go

You mean to tell me.....in order to replace the rear taillights in a tC, you have to remove the bumper? That seems excessive??!!??

these instructions were perfect...the hardest part is getting the bumper loose

the guides that they posted are the ones i used... but if you dont have the TYC tails... and you have other brands... there was this reverse wiring thing... when i installed mine... i had to swap two wires to get the brake and tail to work correctly... didnt think i had to do that... but i blew a fuse to find out...
