help me convince my mom to let me get a tc. she thinks that it's a boy car & that it's a very unsafe car. she says i should get a more 'feminine car'. the car she wants to get me is a toyota corolla xrs. yeah, it's not a bad car. but this will be my first & i'd prefer if it was the car that i wanted in the first place, the scion tc. any ideas on persuading her?

**i'm making the payments on the car. forgot to mention that.

 

if I was going to get a free car, I would research it myself and find out its strong points, do you want everything in life easy or for free? Do some research. Lots of girls drive tCs. In fact I see about a 50/50 ratio in my area

 

tell her you cant have good sex in it because the back seats are a PITA to screw in.. i know from experience... ive tried.. its hard...

the corolla xrs has more room in the back seat... so you would get it IDB,IDV, and probably a dirty sanchez to go with it...

so tc > corolla because you wont get laid very well and you'll be less likely to get pregnant in it also...

 

if you want you could show her some pics of tCs that were rolled, They fair really well. They're very safe cars. They've don't have a lot of power but put down enough when you need it. How is a corrolla more Feminine?

The tC is a very safe car. Now, are you talking about an 08' corolla? If so, isn't that car faster than ours?

If you really want a TC and you are paying... show her the safety test results, maybe find some of the customized girly TCs online and then go get your car... if you are paying for it I would think the decisionn would be yours...

Unless by payments you mean she is making a hefty down and you are picking up payments after that... in which case she does have some say but I would still push hard for what you really want

 

If I was you, try to get the tC.

yea your best bet would be to just show her crash tests..or all the pictures of wrecked tcs , which the drivers came out fine from what i've seen...

LOL malibus. but shoot i'd get a xrs if i could. but o well, there's been a couple of people who rolled their tCs and crawled out with scratches and bruises. heck, my friend got in an accident, where the drunk driver who crashed into him died, and so did another person, but he came out with a couple of bruises.
