HELP!!! My dealership messed up my rims!

ok....just settle down for a little bit...Just think you are getting new rims...and yes you got into an accident but hey thats life...don't worry it is not that bad and I am sure everything will work out for you...good luck!

ya, thanks, ive just been goin through so much drama lately, n when i finally thought it was all over after a year....my accident happened! im just really upset cuz this kid is tryin to rip me and my insuarance company off, and cuz well hes lying lol....nyways ya, im really happy that im gettin the new rims, ill just keep thinkin of that lol, seein as i had curb rash on 1 of em like 2 months after i got it lol

same think happend to me. cant tell by your description of where the scratches are if its the same as mine. anyway
theres not much room between our lugnuts and rims. therefore they are supposed to use thin wall sockets to remove the the nuts. they didnt use them, so when the socket is turning away it scratched all around the inside of my rim. its not to bad, but i notice it. i called them up and _____ed them out for it. after my rant they told me to bring it in and they would repair if not replace my rims. im buying aftermarket rims anyway so i could care less.
but im glad yours worked out alright.

lol.. calm down... ok. From the sound of it you were in your school's parking lot. The police can not assign blaim on private property unless someone admits it. You did not so I would not worry about your insurance paying for it. You stated that the cop said no one was at fault. Did you claim that it was your fault? If not, it would be very hard for his insurance company to say it was your fault and try to get money from your insurance company. Let a lone your insurance will fight his to try not to pay. Most likely you will be paying for your damages and he will be paying for his. Just DON'T say that it was your fault. End of Story.

ya i didnt, i knew right away that the first thing you do when u get in an accident is even if u think its ur fault, to not say anything. i didnt admit it to the police or to him. i got advice from a cop in my area yesterday, and he told me that in a situation, when 2 people are backing out at the same time in a parkin lot and they hit each other, that just like u said, each party is held responsible for there own damage....esp since my state is a "no-fault" state, this kid just thinks that because he's sayin its my fault that it is, when it wasnt, he's really stupid too, the police estimate his damage at $200, and mine at 500, and i found out he allready paid his insurance company a 500 deductable, for 200 worth of damage?!?!?! come on now lol, im thinkin he ither went to some place and had em up the price so he could rip me off n my insurance company, or he did more crap to his car and is guna try and say i did it. the kid admitted to me that i had more damage then him, and that his was only going to cost a few hundered dollars, but hes being extremly persistant, cuz he wants me to pay so bad! (maybe thats why he didnt want me callin the police and gettin the insurance invloved.....cuz he knew if i did, what would REALLY happen) well all i have to say is that im goin to some place on thursday to have em take pics of my car, he supp. allready went, so now its up to the insuarance companies to determine the point of impact and whatnot....time will tell, but i seriously dont know what the heck is runnin through this kids head, puttin in a claim....worse part, im gunna be in class with this rude SOB for the next few months....OH JOY lol! thanks for ur advice!

P.S. if this kid did anything else to his car, and is now guna try to claim it was me who did it, my bf took pictures with his PDA...that day in the parkin lot wit da cops there! so yes, ill post pics later when i get home of what my poor baby looks like! lol

luckily my only accident was by my best friends, so we let it go w/o reporting the insurance( it was on a different vehicle....hit the tC, i kill ya..jk) and he paid me cash for the repairs

thanx for offerin to beat him down lol, my boyfriend showed up to the whole thing like 10 min after it happend and literally like jumped outa the car, ready to bea the sh*t outa the kid....ur luck ur accident was with a friend, this kid like didnt want me calling 911 or reporting it to insurance ither, he felt it was my fault and i guess because he said so many times that he thought that i should pay for his damage, that it actually was going to happen! i have to call my insurance company tommarow and give my "formal statment" so im guna check with my agent what happened when this jerk off went 2 go get pics taken of his car. idk, ive clamed down aloth though, i seriously couldnt sleep alllll weekend! sorry bout not puttin the pics up yet, ill do it tonight when i get home from work, i have em on my digatal camera and still gota upload em to my lap top.....so check back maybe round 8pm or so! tahnks for all the advice and help!!

sry i messed up the links in the first post, so ya basically the first pic is what the dealer did to my rim, sorry its kinda blurry, i hada get real close for you to veiw the scratch and it kinda messedup the zoom, so ya all the other ones, are from the accident!
