Default Help! Navi installed, but...

I just had my navi installed, good stuff, but my dealer is telling me that when the trim kit comes in for it i will not have the door over the stereo. Is this true? The only reason I bought the navi was because it was going to be hidden by the cover when it was off! Anyone know if this is ture?

Thanks,
K
