help with rear view mirror install
I purchased the dimming mirror from McGeorges. I went to install it, and got stuck at taking down the console that holds the light and moonroof control. I tried a few things, but nothing seemed to be working, without feeling like i was going to break it. any suggestions, or instructions would be appreciated.
I'm thinking about ordering the auto-dim mirror and installing myself. Before I do I'm trying to find out more information on what the install requires. Specifically I'm concerned about the wiring involved and how difficult it is. Also, does it just attatch to the exsisting mirror mount on the windshield? I've been searching for the original installation manuals but haven't found much, nor have I found a post describing the installation process.
Thanks much!
And for anyone who is curious, these are the Scion accessory installation manuals I have found so far....

im sure its just a bolt up replacement and there should be a harness for the auto dimming mirror.
The lights are there and the mirror would only need a power and ground to operate (its a small minicomputer).
Thats my guess. Now as far as actual interior mods, I couldnt tell you, I havent looked that hard at that area, as I dont have my tC yet
