Working on a friends car, where someone added a anti defouler to the car and now the car will not start. It will turn over but just won't kick on. Disconnected battery and let the car's power drain, re-termined the O2 connection with another O2 sensor but still no improvements. Anyone have any ideas?

 

02 sensor wont prevent the car from starting,is the battery terminals clean and on tight,you might wanna clean them,what yr and how many miles on the car,if the 02 is plugeg in correctly and installed on the s-pipe tight shouldnt have problems,

 

i dont even have my secondary 02 sensor hooked up lol.

but the o2 sensor would just make it run rich and i will just eat your gas up.

 

dont you have a cel,even though the second one is for emission only

 

Front o2 sensor will cause car to run lean/rich. Secondary o2 sensor is only to check cat converter efficiency.

 

check your key, transponder chip should be near the ignition to fully turn on.
