Exclamation Help scion tc 2010 hid kits

Hi guy, i just recently got 2010 tC. I got my HID kits 6000k. I tried installing it but the HID bulb only fits thru the High beam bulb not the daytime bulb? Did I happen to get the wrong kit because the guy said they are universal with any cars! Because i tried putting the HID bulb where the daytime bulb is but it doesn't fit. Help anyone! Im still a noob at this!

if i remember right 2010 low beams (which i think are the ones you call daytime lights) are h11 bulbs. i think the high beams are still 9005. i think you got the wrong bulbs.

the sensor that goes into the top of the intake tube. if the sensor is not flush it will suck in air at the sensor and trip the engine light.

you could try that, is the sensor sitting all the way down, even a little air gap will cause a problem, was the intake specific to your year, there is a difference between the 05-07 intakes and the 08-10 intakes?

its got to be that the sensor isnt all the way in there, check that but disconnec the battery first, and leave it off for ten minutes or so, you will have to reset the auto-up and down on the windows and sunroof
