Whats up everone, i just found out about this forum and its starting to look pretty good. I ordered the super white 5 speed. Gota wait about 3 weeks or so to it comes in. Im still deciding if i should lease or buy?? Any suggestions.

Also how do you guys think the spoiler looks, i kinda like the way it looks without it.

congratulations on the car,
you should buy though. You lose a lot of money on a lease, and if you want to lease for the purpose of saving money, then it wouldnt be a good idea. Also, since Scion is made for modding etc then i'm pretty sure you can't do anything to a leased car. I recommend buying.

You're not going to save much by leasing since the Scion is cheap to begin with and nobody knows how they'll hold their value. Leases on Lexuses, Mercedes and the like are good deals because they don't depreciate much, and on the lease you're only paying the depreciation. Leases on Audis generally suck because they still don't hold their value very well. Audi isn't the only one like that, just the first that springs to mind.

congrats on the car!

i would defnitely buy it over leasing it.

i have the rear lip spoiler on mine and it definitely completes the car, but i think there's going to be a higher spoiler coming out. you might want to wait for that one...

again, congrats on the car and may 3 weeks come sooner than later! :D

Why are the prices for tC accessories so low on mcgeorgeparts.com? They seem too good to believe.

Because they're giving you wholesale prices, not retail parts counter prices. They're a Toyota dealer, just like Partznet and ToyotaParts4U.

Before I buy I would want to know what the Toyota Financial Services Lease Residuals are for a 24, 36, and 48 month lease. I haven't been able to get this info just yet.

IF the TFS residuals for the Tc are significantly HIGHER than you think it will be worth in 2, 3 or 4 years then consider a lease.

I'd also consider a lease if you are concerned about how the value of the Tc will hold up over 3 to 4 years. The lease establishes a GUARANTEED buy price at the end of your lease term. If the buy price is HIGHER than or EQUAL to market value at end of lease term turn in the car. If the buy price is LOWER than market value then buy it and : (1) keep car or (2) sell it for a gain.

Just my thoughts.
