idk if it's just cuz im freakin out. or if it's the cars in front of me. but is there supposed to be an odor from freshly-installed HID's? 8500k texon

 

what kind of odor? like the smell of something burning or melting? no.

 

it doesn't look like anything should be getttin hot. where id you guys put your wire going to the passenger HID? I put mine right above the radiator cover, ziptied to the other wire going across it. the ballast is right by the fluid container by the headlight, under that box with the small metal pipes coming out (not sure what it is, engine really isn't my thing). and my other ballast is under my intake. so i don't think anything would/should be melting.

 

and when i open the hood, i don't smell anything out the ordinary. idk, maybe it's just me having some kind of panic attack.

 

check everything else for the smell but your HIDs should not smell
