Just bought an 06 tC. I want to put HIDS on but don't want to blind everyone on the road. Need some help!! Should I get projectors or aim my beam low?? What are some good projectors?

 

don't recommend it, unless you spend a lot of money for real retro-fit projectors, you will blind everyone.

 

I have them in my 07, projection, with hallows, cost I was told by my son who did this was around 350 to 400 depends on how sporty you want to go, I would check on what the specs are for height on the head lights, but you should be able to set them, so as not to blind any one, from what I have see on the new cars, with LED's are brighter than the HEI's

 

Believe it or not, some of the aftermarket projector housings do a decent job. Here is my actual car from 2009 using an eBay projector.

They have pretty decent light distribution and include a pre-installed projector cutoff shield to eliminate glare. Still using these 8 years later, lol. Not sure if anything has changed since back then, but these are the style that I purchased:
