Default Hmm...Tire Pressure.

Tire pressure light came on yesterday. I made sure I had enough air in my tires. Then I reset it. The light still won't go off. Does anyone have any idea why it might still be on?

either you didnt reset it correctly or maybe a tire has a slow leak? all i know is a few weeks ago mine came on...so i stoped at a gas station filled all the tires, checked all the pressures, everything was cool.... drove it for the rest of day.....woke up the next day only to find i had a flat--- it was a full flat but it was a flat....soooo check it out

did you rotate them?

I rotated mine and the light kept going off. I put them back the way they were and the light went away.

Resetting and turning it off are not the same thing. If you are confident that the pressure is correct then reset by holding it for about ten seconds. In addition to going off, the computer will change its defaults to the current values so it won't come back on unless the pressure drops more.

Btw, 3 seconds turns it off, 10 seconds resets it.
