Alright, so I live on the edged of Paterson & Clifton in Jersey. If you know Jersey, Paterson ain't the best of towns to live in, but I am not in a bad area. I live more in an industrial area.
Anyways, last Tuesday, sometime after 3 AM, someone had broken my sister’s passenger window. Nothing was stolen, and it seemed like they may had used a nearby rock. It was odd since we never had any problems, but she was ____ed to have to pay for it. Then that Thursday a bunch of people came over for a party. We were drinking until 4 AM or so. Then the next morning, someone had broken my sisters back windshield and our friends passenger window. Again nothing stolen, but it was really f-ed up.
So it’s Friday, and again we were drinking until about 3 AM. The next morning, someone had wedged my passenger door handle off my tC. Looks like they used a small crowbar, because they dented and scratched off some paint.
So now, I took it personally.

And actually the kid came around Sunday night again, but one of our friends had seen him and tried to chase him down, but did not catch him.

So I plan to get a new alarm system for my tC. Any suggestions?

Looking for something that has:
- 2 way capability
- ½ mile range
- A silent mode (so I can actually sneak up on the kid)
- Something between $100 - $400

If $400 is in your range that can get you a pretty good alarm with all the goodies plus remote start.

I got one for sale for $225 shipped. It's the Viper 791VX. Look it up. Good alarm too. And it has remote start. Just throwing it out there....

 

viper also has the 5002 incase you have a manual and cant put the remote start on. which has transponder (2-way) technology.

 

buy a 12 gauge, that will keep ppl far away... every one fears the pump!

J/K, I know it is a horrible feeling. We were at a friend's house when we heard some tire squeal and glass shattered. Then some more tire squeal. We go outside to check and the rear window of a friend's car is shattered completely, and it seemed to be done at random since the guy didn't leave anywhere near that area. Unfortunate for him, but luckily my car was right in front of his and didn't get any damage at all, but only both our cars were on the side all this happened in. My heart dropped when I thought it was my car.

i've slept in the tc back before. not cozy at all. which means i would be awake.

after we saw him, for like an hour, me and my drunk friends are running around town with bats and machete's, getting paranoid about every ____ing car that passed and ____. i thought for sure we'd get the cops called on us or something.

at first i thought it was personal too, but people around the corner had been broken into too. but they never try to hot wire the car, they just look for ____ inside, which i never keep ____ in there and i dont know why you would break in if you can clearly see through the glass that theres nothing in there.

a guy in work gave me one of them shooting tazers. so so if i do get him, im tazing him, then kicking the shot out of him, then taking whatever he's got on him. if hes got id with an address, im ____ing up his place too. may take him back to his place and smash his head through his windows to see if he likes dishing out a few hundred for that ____

 

i have the clifford G5, everything plus i added, proximity sensor and a backup battery, my brother has it on his 08 SI, definitely the best alarm, ive had viper before
