Do you have an aftermarket hood that could be chafing right there?
2nd thought is the plastic cap on the radiator has spring a lead where it joins the aluminum body, but I don't think it'd get that hot...

 

no only mods to the car are injen intake and race cutout. i looked while closing hood nothing rests on it.

yes but haven't left any tools in there i check b4 i close the hood.

 

Is this the first time they are replacing it? It may just be a defect, it does occasionally happen with things.

another cause could be a chemical or acid eating it up, maybe a strong industrial cleaner
