Default how do people with aftermarket parts get warranty work done?

today i brought in my tc for my last free oil change. i also had them fix the corner of my sunroof, because they did work on it before and it wasn't sitting correctly.

i also told them that sometimes when i shift from 1st to 2nd, over 3500 rpm, the shifter will pop into my hand quickly. even when i have the clutch to the floor.

then i told them that when it's cold outside, second gear will crunch for about 10 mins after startup

also i told them that the stick vibrates in 5th gear when i give it more than 1/3 throttle (at highway speeds obviously)

all of these shifter concerns have come up on this board several times.
they changed my oil and repositioned my sunroof....but they wouldn't touch the tranny because of my ingellis engine damper. they said it had to be removed before that looked at the tranny concerns.
it's not a big deal to remove it, it's easy to do...the pain in the butt is getting someone to drive with me, 20 mins away to drop off my car at the dealership.

how do people with turbos and short shifters and misc other aftermarket stuff get any warranty work done when they wouldnt even look at my tranny because of an engine damper?

well... with regards to the engine damper, it actually can affect your tranny. it allows less movement of the engine, which in turn provides a stronger "umph" to the tranny.

if they believe that something aftermarket caused your problems, they won't look at it or bother. you just need to somehow prove to them that it doesn't.

anything else, they should look at, but most of your tranny concerns sounds normal to me.
