Default how to drive a 08 scion tc and a charcoal toyota celica update pg 1

So i got pulled over on the freeway for speeding and I got two tickets one for speeding and one for wreck less driving. On one ticket it says a 08 scion tc and on the other it says charcoal toyota celica. I drive an 09 tc just wondering if there's something to get off based on the fact that the cop had my registration yet couldn't copy from what was in front of his eyes?
UPDATE the court date was the 9th and the cop didn't turn in the ticket by then so my court date is now February 25 . people seem confident that the case may be dismissed and that i may just have to take driving school since judge Hawkins is very lenient towards first timers in his court room

usually if they write the wrong car name you can fight it. especially being off by so much.

no you wont be able to win, think about it. If the judge ask you whether you committed the crime...what are you gonna say? No your honor, I did not do this crime even though the ticket has my information.

Mom doesnt drive a celica does she? Your gonna have to go ahead and accept those tickets man, no way of getting out of it. Cop messed up, but your gonna have to pay em. Depending how fast you were going might be able to get away with some defensive driving.

I dont know where the celica came from, cuz my insurance says "toyota scion tc", but the celica and wrong year thing is wierd.

maybe but a dash cam cant really catch u speeding and i dont think he had his radar on cause he put a different speed on the ticket then what he said i was doing. regardless of the crime the information is wrong so the judge may have to throw the case out if a cop cant doesn't know how to read should he be allowed to pull people over

you can try and you might win, but he has your name license plate, license number and the fact that you were speeding so more than likely the judge will still find you guilty.

You will not win by contesting the car make and model. Many have tried this defense and it will not work. Your best guess is to try to prove that the cop made an error as to how fast you were driving or that the radar was not properly calibrated and certified. Also try to see if the officer was even trained properly on how to use the device. You may also want to challange the weather and any obstructions that could have altered the reading.

You must show up to court and present everything in a proper manner. The judge will probably lower the fine and points and you can pay that and move on.

YOU WILL NOT WIN WITH YOUR DEFENSE OF WRONG MAKE AND MODEL, DO NOT TRY IT; THE JUDGE WILL NOT BE PLEASED!

sYcsYn is right, your best bet is to just contest it how a normal driver does. Request for proof of when the last calibration on the radar detector was done, check if the cop was trained to use radar properly as well.

If they weren't, usually it will be thrown out because the speed could have been off or the officer not sure how to use it. At worst, if you contest it but are proper about it, they may at least lower your fine a little.
