How many miles per tank do you get on your tC?!

I'm averaging 250 per tank.

 

lol was this started based off a comment on my thread about how often do you fill up. anyway i dont' know i've never payed attention to that.

 

for sure it was! lol, because im curious cause i think i get the worst gas mileage lol. my lead foot is the leading cause of this.

 

Are you sure you're driving it right?

14 gallon tank times 25-30 mpg= 350-420 miles if you run to the brink of empty and drive it well. That's lowballing the high end mileage even.

 

i just filled up today, so tomorrow i'll write down the mileage and see what it is the next time i fill up

 

I think I drive it really good. Thats something I just dont understand. I drive like 40miles a day. My miles are mixed between highway and city miles. I dont feel like I drive my car hard either. I set cruise contorl whenver possible. Whenever im on the freeway i set cruise control @ 80mph.

maybe its something I should get looked at

 

I'm lucky if I get 200 a tank...

My lowest mpg was 13, highest was 21, with an avg being 17.

I also drive short trips (2 miles usually) city miles most of the time, and I drive very spiritedly.

 

yeh i average about 17 as well.

I am getting a lot better gas mileage in my tC than I ever did in my xB though. Which is sad I think lol

But Im thinking i got bad gas mileage in the xB cause i had to floor it to get any kind of acceleration out of it.

now that I have the tC, when i drive the xB i feel as though im going to get run over!

 

im getting about 390-400 miles switching at 3.5 rpm and not going over 70mph. but that's because i'm still breaking my engine in =)

 

I am getting 25-27mpg the last time I filled up I had 318 miles for the tank. I put in 11.875gal. So I got 26.778mpg.
I drive 70-80 on the way to work.

 

^^^my #s are almost exactly the same. I guess i drive like a grandma! but ive been getting about 27MPG which is why i bought the car (gas mileage). I still have plenty of fun in it but im gettin 27 the last 3 tanks.

I don't run it till empty, so I fill up about 11 gallons. But I always set the trip meter, and I got 24mpg when I filled up today. so a 1 gallon tank would get me 336 miles. Mostly highway, but I rev the crap outa my engine!

 

I average a bit under 300/per tank.

 

I get about 27... usually I get about 10-12 gallons at a fillup.

And I do not drive like a grandmother

 

How many miles does everyone have..because i think that makes a big difference!!?? I have about 1300 miles and i still get about 22MPG ...i believe this should get better though right??

 

Here is my story...mostly highway driving with 21,000 miles so far

1) with 4 stock wheels - 26 -29 mpg
2) with 4 19" TRD wheels - 23 - 25 mpg
3) with two front stock wheels, two rear 19" TRD wheels - 25 - 29 mpg
4) will not try two front 19" TRD, two rear stcok wheels - too funny to look at

Oh sh*t i didnt think about the whells hurting the MPG....i have the stock 18's does anyone have those ??? and what is your MPG like...Could that be effecting my gas????

 

i'll be lucky if i get 275 miles to the tank. got a 13.2 gallong tank. mostly city driving. i can get 400 miles all highway tho.
