I just ordered a 2006 TC (very excited about getting it) and all I am reading is about these horrible rattles. Can anyone out there who has a TC with no rattles say some words about their car to help put me to rest. Obviously ever car has some, but what is the percentage of people with these problems.

The only thing i hear making noise in my TC is the dam K&N CAI other than that not much of anything else

 

u r one of the lucky ones then
i kno mine has a crazy amount of rattles, but that is do to not having any rear interior,and alot of suspension work

 

i've had NO problems with my 06 tc and i got it sept 14

 

i had rattles and then they tightened up something in the rear and it all went away...no rattles since.
I have an 06'

 

No rattles at all. Radio door squeaks but it's open all the time and I can't even hear it when my stereo's on.

 

nope. only thing loud and possibly annoying in my car is the radio and my intake/exhaust.

Yeah it's one of those things that I'll get around to doing eventually.

i think MOST 06's got the rattles fixed or taken care of
alot of 05's have these issues

who has 06 with rattle?

 

10k miles....no rattles. Just dont drive it like a bat out of he$% and you will be fine.

the only thing that rattles in my car is my trunk. lol

'06, 2700 miles, no rattles.
When I went up into the mountains last weekend, it was in the low 30's there. I was on the most horrible road ever and the hatch rattled a little.
When we got back down the mountain, and it was back to warm (relatively speaking, in the 50's) it went away.
When I lived back east, all cars rattled in the winter. Things contract and fit is not as tight when parts are freezing - normal.

My tC is rock-solid so far.

I thought my car was rattling but the hatch just wasn't close tight. 05 w/ 9000miles and it hasn't rattled yet. ::knockonwood::

 

It may seem like EVERYONE has rattle problems on here. It's just because some of the people who have a few rattles make a HUGE deal about it.
