i was thinking of selling my scion and was wondering how much i should put it up for. it's an 07 scion tc with custom 19" rims with the lip painted to match the color of the car. I have also installed an aem cold air intake and tinted all the windows(including the windshield) 20%. the tail lights have also been tinted and the front eyebrown as well.

You're not likely to get any extra money for mods. As far as asking price, private party value should be somewhere around 15-16k depending on the mileage. For a trade in expect somewhere between 12-13k.

 

fix the wipers, put the stock wheels and intake system back on. sell the AEM CAI and wheels local if you can and sell the car like that. you wont get anymore money with those mods on and depending on the miles and condition of the car id say 14k?

yes they do decrease the value... its a buyer's market!

realistically you are looking at 11-13K max because all the vinyl and "mods" will decrease the value.

that sucks, and i do get pulled over all the time but i have my ways of getting out of it. and the tint can be removed at anytime. so if i took off all the mods and made it stock again how much will it be worth then?

i am surprised you havnt get pull over with that front tint.... i remember back in the day people get pull over for the sun strips for going over like 7 inches or something... but kelly's(kbb) is a must stop for people buying/selling new/used car.
