how much do rs1.0's go for?
#2
a honda dealer was willing to give me 18k on a trade in for an s2000. i ALMOST took it, but it'd mean i'd be in debt, and lose a lot of practicality, so i didnt bite.
tc's hold value very well already, an RS1 should be even more so.

-18" Enkei Wheels with Dark Graphite Finish
-Door Sill Enhancement
-"Color Tuned" Billet Oil Cap and Battery Tie Down
-Badged Floor Mats and Cargo Mat
The "Color Tuned" just means it is red to match the car.

However, now that thereare no more new ones, left...I am hoping the values will go up seeing they were a limited production. By that, I mean that if you are looking at buying a RS1, I wouldn't find the average price of a 05 tC and add $1775 to that. I would expect RS1's in good condition to bring a lot more than that.

I don't see the mods added to raise the value that much to your car......the upgraded wheels will add a little and the other stuff little or close to nothing. The actual value of the car would be the same as any other, unless there was some person who just had to have that model and wanted to spend the extra money for your car.

The RS1 also has the custom grill. This one is way better as upgrades from the RS2 and I think most everyone would say the RS1 is the very good for the value! Also the RS1 will be worth more then the regular tCs in 05...

Rims and Tires Through Dealership - $1,565
Release Series 1.0 Grilles (I have the invoice) - $1,700+
Oil Cap and Tie Down - $120 for both
Strut Tie Bar - $245
Door Sills - $115
Floor Mats and Cargo Mat - $171
These prices are through Scion.com (with the exception of the grilles). That is $4,016 of accessories, not including the different seats, the "color tuned" parts, the "RS1 only" color of the rims, and the fact that there are less than 2,500 of these cars on the road.

The rims are really the only thing though adding value and it is only a little. Yes, the 18's are $1500 but the difference between those and the 17's used would only be a few hundred $. There are only a limited number of spec t's being made, do you think that will raise the value of that?
I'm not bashing your car, it will be worth slightly more because of the wheels but just don't think that you will get extra money out of the mats, sills, tie bar and oil caps......just not going to happen.
