I'll say it again.....

Anyone that would be stupid enough to buy a new car, (outside those among us who were ,apparently, worthy enough to be HANDED theirs) is a fool.

You can wait 6 months....GET the warranty.....and pay thousands less....

Buying a "new" used car is a horribly bad idea IMO. You never have any idea how bad the car was hot rodded or what dip____ owned it before you. I'll take my brand new car with 2 miles on the odometer over a 6 month owned "new" used car any day.

"Payments? I don't need no stickin' payments!!"

Got tired of purchasing used cars. Rode a bike (with rides given to me here and there) and saved my $crilla for 2 years. Was saving up for BMW. Test drove the tC and decided I didn't need the BMW to define me. At that time I had over $20K saved. Told 'Scion man' I was going to pay cash and he was like, "Wha what what?!!" The rest is history.

Nothing a$shole about it. Just letting people know that they can do anything they want with the proper mind set.

It is pretty oppinionated. Is car max gonna tell you how hard the cars been driven? A kid at my school had a brand new GTO, Beat the shh outa the car. Redlining it every day. Sold it a few weeks later because he realized he couldn't afford the car. You think carmax is gonna tell the new owner how that GTO was treated? Sorry but I have to agree, I would never buy a New used car. Now a Used civic with like 80K miles on it sure, but there you're saving a ton of money, But I don't feel that what you're saving is really that important. You'll probably flame me for it and idc cuz you're opinion doesn't matter to me but if you're already spending ~20 grand on a car. Whats another 1-2K for a legitimately new car. Its like an extra 20 bucks a month. That's one less dinner at the olive garden a month. Just like 5 series owners. Sorry this is my personal oppinion, But if you have 50 grand to dump on a car, why not just spend an extra 30 or w.e it is and get the M5?

If you are buying a Chrysler with a lifetime power train warranty then sure. Also not to mention there are plenty of wrecked cars that don't make it to the carfax report. So go ahead buy your car that only has 15k miles on the odometer. Hopefully some 17 year old punk didn't put the equivalent of 35k-40k worth of damage on it hot rodding it everyday. Hopefully he kept up with the oil changes like he was suppose to and didn't decide to run it for a few thousand miles without the air filter to hear how it sounds less restricted.

It's a piece of mind and all that. Not to mention I"m much more attached to my car knowing that every mile on it is from me. I purchased it with 0 on the ODO and broke it in the way I wanted serviced everything the way I wanted and I'm going to mod her the way I want.

0 down $14,950 (yay for used) for 60 months @ 9.5% (my credit is SO-SO I guess) about $330/month. Buying used you can get a the 100k extended and still be under the OTD price of a new tC with a longer warranty.

Wanted to trade it in for an 07 Nismo Z but they are charging an inflated price because of demand. After walking, the salesmen said he'd take off the extra 8? g's but it was still going to be like 34OTD.

Payment doubled and still stuck with a "play" car. I'll take a G37S next year. Working is great.

My parents bought my first car. Wouldn't mind if they wanted to buy my next. Take what you can get IMO. Handouts are lovely.

How much did that "piece" of mind set you back?

I buy the cars you get tired of for thousands and thousands off the original price.

My warranty works as good as yours.......maybe even better.

2006, $10,000 down, 6 years, $219.02.

I haven't even had the car for 2 & a half years yet & I only have about ~$2000 left on it. Before I was seriously modding I had a couple months where I dropped $1k on the car a month & the months I didn't drop 1k on it, I still paid extra. I have a recurring payment of $260 set at TFS (& sometimes I'd pay more). But really, it's stupid to think I've dumped so much into the car & I don't even own it yet. =/

I'll feel so much better once I have the pink slip to my pink tC.

My RS5 xB is a whole nother story though, $0 down, $387.94 a month. =/
