How my "friend" is going to be found face down in
Well, my horror story begins. So, I was out of town for a day and let my best friend of God knows how long borrow the car for a day. Well he got creative and bored and decided to de-badge the rear tC emblem. So it seems like he got it off, then was stuck with the foam adhesive and used a scrubbing pad to rub off the glue.
Now I have swirly marks where he rubbed off the paint, and the touch up paint I bought at the dealership DOES NOT MATCH AT ALL.
What I'm asking is whats a convenient way to kil...ahem, whats a good way to hide or fix the scratches? It's about the size of my palm, and you can see where the paint has been scratched and is white. The touch up does not work and I really hate to see my car blemished in this way.
Any help is much appreciated.

get it professionally fixed.
anyhow, when I debadged my tc logo, I just waited till it was really hot, and the badged peeled right off, than I just rubbed of the residue with my fingers and detailer spray.
your friend isnt very smart.
I dont think scratchx will fix scrubbing pad swirls, Ive used scratchx before and it does nothing for scratches other than tiny fine swirlies from a dirty microfiber.

Hard to say without seeing it, but is the white just some residue from crap he used or is it the primer showing through the factory paint?
If its not primer just use rubbing compound @ 1000 grit, working up to 3000. If its primer, pick up some aerosol and clear from paintscratch.com or similar and repaint that one piece.

Wherever you bury the "package", make sure you put a large tree over it. You never see people digging up trees to look for bod.....uh...packages.

Take it to a shop to get it repainted professionally, then have your friend fork over the $150-300 for the repair. The more you try to cheap out on it, the worse it's going to get.
Do it right, or go home.

Meguires Scratch X has never worked for me, even on the smallest scratches. Try a 3M rubbing compound or something like that. If it doesnt work, smack your friend and make him pay for it, one way or another.
