And while we are at it, what does everyone do for a living?

then there are so many people who are lucky enough to have their parents actually buy them the car.

anyways... whatever. just thought i would throw that in here :p
Actually, Undecided_Fate, this is a documented phenomena with the Honda Element (UGH!) and the Pontiac Aztek/Vibe, the vast majority of the buyers are over 40, empty nesters or retirees replacing their primary vehicle.
With their target markets being gen x/y/z, Just goes to show that these marketing people don't always know what they are doing.

42. I'll buy if it looks like a good deal; I don't care who the marketing people want to sell it to.

Default I'm way old!!!

I'll turn 49 in August I don't give a damn about marketing I have more Oakleys than any of the teens on this forum anyway. Come to think of it I might be SERGE4u's grand daddy!! Not!!!

Isn't it obvious Scion/Toyota is selling these cars nearly at a loss to entice people into the brand?

A bargain is a bargain. This car reminds me of the CRX which was a steal at the time & is still going strong.

Black Cherry Pearl tC 5-speed dropping in July.

:D My son is 25 and his Silver streak 5spd tC is sitting at the port of Ny. Should be here tomorrow or Friday. He's paying for it. I'm 48 and I will be buying one too! Haven't decided which color yet. Leaning towards the Azure or the Flynt mica, 5spd of course. I'm the internet sales manager for a Toyota/Scion dealership in Southern Va.

17, seems like the tC is actually attracting the "target" age groups as suggested by Scion for the xA, xB, and tC.

The xB and xA had a lot of older drivers.
