Default how to take off ur bumper...(56k be cautious)

ok first off i'd like to apologize for my picture quality... the garage is not too well lit.. and well my camera sucks.

So here's how to take off ur bumper. i don't know if anyone has posted this before. mods, you guys can kill this if it has.

All you need is a philips and flat head screwdriver to get off the top pins, and a 10mm socket wrench to remove the bolts/screws.

1. Pop your hood and and remove teh 5 clips/pins (that crappy wiring was just to test out the headlight strobes...it's all hidden now :D )

2. Undo the two screws in teh wheel wells. That's 2 on each side, not 2 total. most people miss the hidden screw that is behind the wheel well liner.
3. go to the other side and do the same.

4. remove the screws beneath the car. Below is a top view of the screws you will find when you get under the car. You'll understand when your down there.

5. Go back to the wheel well and grab the bumper like so....

6. Give it a yank. It's tough the first time. If you are scared of breaking your car and don't like hearing snapping sounds, this isn't for you. The circled part is a little bit tougher to pull out, just give it a little more of a tug.

7. do the same to the other side.
8. go back to the center and gently rock teh bumper off of the car. Use common sense, if it's stuck on something, don't just pull harder, check it out and unhook it from whatever it's caught on, it gets caught every time i pull my bumper off.

and... Tada! a car with no bumper.... from here you can do anything!

Rear bumper removal is quite similar, you jsut have to find all the screws and pull

Feel free to comment all you want, if there are any other tips out there, please tell me

hey hanto quit jackin my thread......j/k... i like that grill, if i knew how to do that myself i would have done it.

kev- whenever i get bored and it's not pouring down rain, i wash my car. and that would be almost once a week. My girlfriend says she's going to leave me if i don't spend more time with her and less time washing my car :D

For all of you who want to know how i did my grill, the count is 4 people at this moment i will post a "How to" thread, just give me some time to get some pics

edit: i'll get some pics when thw weather isn't so crappy out :?
