Default how to tell if you have an 05-06 or 07+?

When I bought my car at the dealership in July of 07, I was told I was buying a 07 tC. However i just recently noticed that my user manual that came with the car says "2006 Scion tC". I was wondering if this means that I actually might have an 06. Is there any way to tell what year it is?

i have a gen2 radio if that helps any...i notice most 05-06 have a diff radio. >_> Thanks cuz i know ill feel like a noob once i find out the answer

sometimes... actually.. most dealership people are stupid..

they may have taken (*cough* stolen..) the owner's manual from an '06 and put it in your car because somehow they "lost" yours.. and not realized the difference...

or you may have been duped.. quickest way to check is look at your visors. if it has an extension part.. it's an '07.. not an '06.

also... from the outside.. look at your valve stems..
metal? '07... (why? new tmps sensors)
rubber? '06.
