I was reading that official news release from toyota, saying the 07 tC should arrive in showrooms in June. I was wondering if anyone knows how good toyota have been in the past with sticking closely to release dates?

Im looking to get a tC around mid-end of June, but don't want to get an 06 if the 07 is coming... I'm also impatient though, and dont want to wait if there's delays on the 07 :-D I also am in NEED of a car, due to getting a new job starting june, and currently car-sharing with my wife. I'm renting for 2 weeks to make sure the jobs all ok, but dont want to waste money on that too much, so I'm counting on toyota to get that new tC out...

 

Oh, by the way, I know there will hardly be any change from the 06 to 07, but I'd feel ripped off to pay almost the same money for a "year old" car just because they're 2 or 3 weeks late with their release. I'm also getting this scion primarily for it's resale value in a year or 2, and don't want to lose a whole year, just for the sake of 2 or 3 weeks.

yea, toyota normally has reliable release dates, with exception to the TRD supercharger...

 

Toyota's good about it... TRD and aftermarket parts made for the car they are not.

 

1st 07 preference is in June in my region. Should hit in july late in the month I would think.
