I am also a new owner of a 07 metallic blue meca with custom silver mesh grille. I was going to get the lip kit with fog lights but they were too expensive for OTD so my future plans is a body kit , lower the car, rims, and everything that pertains on ricing out a car. HAHA jk I'll have pics up here 2 but later when i'm home from work

 

I am kicking around the idea of getting a TC. My Taco is killing me on gas I commute 80 miles a day to work. I did a search and the average mpg people are gettin with the TC is around 25-28 mpg. I am regular over on CustomTacos.com and this site is awesome lots of info.

 

How much should I expect to pay for my License and Registration in Nebraska??

I just got home with my Flint Mica 06. So far I am loving it, although I have to go back to the dealer tomorrow as they kinda forgot to put the stereo in it.

 

Anyone else have the metallic blue meca? Looks like the limited edition Si for the civic color. Some guy asked me. Where did you get that custom paint job today lol. I will post pics but don't have a digi have a sk2 camera so I will have to wait till day time. To me personally the only difference is the seats fabric thats it. Other than that its just a plain tc

My name is Ron and I just bought my tC back in February. . . I have been hanging around here and yoursciontc.com for a while just reading. . . . My tC is Nautical Blue with TYC taillights, 18" rims, ground effects, fog lights . . and its a 5-speed. . . Oh yea, I just got my windows tinted today (not too happy, its not dark enough IMO)

I bought a new tC at Caldwell Toyota in NJ last Monday. I traded in a VW Golf (appriased by dealer at $3500). On Wednesday, some manager, John Carbone, called me demanding $900 because the Golf wasn't worth what HE said it was! I said no way. Then he called back and said he would settle for $800, or I could buy the Golf back for $3500, or I could return the tC and call the deal off. Well, I payed nothing and I'm keeping my new car. This is the most ridiculous and unprofessional act I've ever experienced! All the paperwork was signed Monday evening, including me signing the title of the Golf over to the dealership. I complained via phone calls, emails, and visits to everyone at Toyota and Scion...and the next day the dealership said I didn't owe anything. Don't know why they tried to punk me around, but point of this story:

1) DON'T SHOP AT CALDWELL TOYOTA IN NJ!
2) John Carbone is the anti-Christ.

 

it is funny you mention that. . . i just got my tint done on Friday afternoon. . . I haven't had a chance to take any new pics yet. . . I will put some up as soon as I can. . .

Plus, I'm not happy with the darkness right now, a little too light for me. As soon as I get that all figured out, I will post some newer pics with the tint.

my left door got a little scrasches..they are tiny ones but i really upset.. I went to the parking lot i could see what happend with my door ..what the F#$%^&& p!!!
I hate when other people dont take care of other cars..
I didnt know what to do..wait for this car's owner and kick his/her ___ or left a note or call the police

 

i woulda kicked his ___ then called an ambulance F the police~

 

So I orderd an '06 a month ago and the dealer said it should be in by the end of this month. Based on what I've read from other people ordering an '06 and getting an '07 instead, is it possible they're bringing in an '07 for me even though it's $100 more? Would they expect me to be ok with that?

 

Just got the phone call, my '06 tC RS2 5-spd is on the lot. I'm picking it up this evening. only got the TRD exhaust on it, everything else is base, and i received my s2k antenna this morning in the mail!

i drove the auto as a test drive and am completely stoked to drive my own.....then spend another crap load of money on it over the next couple years.

Hello! I'm new to the board. I've been browsing on here and a couple of other sites for a few days now. I'm hoping to get my new scion tc as soon as possible. I want a 2007 but the dealer I was going to go to said they won't have the 2007 until november

 

Thats bs im picking up my 2007 tC tonight... Im pretty sure they juss want to sell all there 2006 before going with the 2007...And it may vary from state to state.

 

yeah i saw a couple of people on here who said they were getting their 2007 within the next couple of weeks so i dunno what the prob is but then I do live in jersey and I read something that said they were coming out on the west coast first and then the east coast. Either way I'm dissappointed because I really wanted my new car now. I drive a 97 mercury tracer and u can just imagine how well that's driving...

 

It's the same here in Pgh, a friend of mine wanted an 07 and they told her November also.

 

i don't know what the hold up is. if they can bring them to the west coast why not ship them to the east coast at the same time. *sigh*
