I know. As soon as I saw the RS 1.0 I vowed not to buy the NBM because I was waiting for an RS to come out because I knew it would be a blue like that if they did.

Default New silver 2007 tC in Vegas

Updated pic 9/18/06 - tinted windows - 20% all the way around.

I decided to test drive a 2007 Scion tC and told myself if the dealer had one in silver, I just may buy it. Well, they had the darker gray and the silver one. I brought it home last night because it was ready to go, the other one wasn't yet. I only became a Scion fan recently after reading so many great reviews and I agree with the masses... I really like this car! It's very fun to drive, very comfortable, looks cool, and I love the fact my IPOD plugs right into the Pioneer audio system. Very nice car - you really do get a lot for your money. Oh, my fav feature has to be the panoramic moon roof - WAY cool!

MODS
First comes window tint followed by an Injen CAI, audio upgrades too, like a Pioneer DVD/Nav system, subs, better rear speakers, etc. Because my last car had a turbo in it I'm seriously thinking about putting one in the tC as well. Then possibly springs to lower it a bit, spoiler, and "maybe" a body kit eventually.

Installed MODS
9/18 - Window tint - DONE! $140 for 5 windows at Sunsational Tint - in Vegas by Dave (it's right behind the mini Statue of Liberty on Sahara Ave). He has been tinting for 24 years and has done many celeb cars and homes. WELL worth it! Thanks Dave! Need their number? 702-320-6218 - I called during lunch today and they said they could do it at 5PM. I was out the door by 6:15PM.

Default Finally getting my tC!

So i've been thinking about getting a tC since SEMA was in Philly. I have been researching a everything about the tC on scionlife and I have to say everyone has really influenced me to get one. So I went test drove one for myself and i loved it. It took me a month to sell my truck 97 GMC 1500 with a 6" lift and 35" tires (=9mpg). So last week i went and put my deposit down for them to hold it. I'm picking it up thurs morning as soon as the check for my truck clears. Getting a 07 flint mica should be an awesome car!!!!

Default It's on a train headed this way from Portland right now!

Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi. I have two weeks to wait for my 07 tC to get to Nashville. I wanted Azure Pearl, and this one my dealer had to trade for with a dealership in Memphis. I'm getting foglights, the rear lip spoiler, and mudflaps put on it to begin with, but plan to switch out the stock headlights with the halo projector headlights shortly after I get it. I'll post pictures once I have it!

Default New tC'er joining the family

Well, I've owned my Scion tC for about a month now, but I'm just now getting around to post on this thread. This isn't my first brand new car purchase, but I can say that I am glad that I chose this car over the Mazda3 that I was going to get. I have been planning my purchase of a Scion tC since early January of this year, and finally went ahead with my purchase.

You can view a couple pics of my car in my profile, but I'm going to link to larger versions on my website.

Glad to be a part of the family!

Default tC - An unbiased love for one of the greatest cars built!

I have had a lot of vehicles in my 7 years of driving...

84 Nissan Sentra
90 Ford Escort
01 Nissan Sentra
00 Civic Si
02 RSX Type-S
04 WRX (Stage II)
04 350Z Roadster
91 Integra LS

and now...

06 tC automatic (I got it Certified with 5100 miles). I was initially looking for the manual, but they didn't have one available and I didn't want to wait. I rationalized my decision to go for the automatic because I live in Los Angeles, so far I'm happy with it - although when the roads are clear I do miss the extra control.

I've driven cars that were extremely slow, extremely fast, automatics, manuals - and I must say that I have never been more satisfied with a car to date as I have with the tC. The looks are amazing, the price is reasonable, and it's sporty enough without getting you into too much trouble (Subaru = Speeding Tickets). Not to mention all the amazing features that aren't found on even more expensive cars. You should have seen how cheap the interior was on my 38 thousand dollar roadster! I'm happy with my Scion, and I'm glad to be a part of this community.

Is there anything special new owners should know about the tC?
