Got my '08 Sizzling Crimson Mica tC last month and LOVE IT!!!! I helped some friends move last weekend and they thought my 'tiny little car' wouldn't be of much use. It turns out that my 'baby' could hold more (with all the seats down) than the bed of a friend's Toyota Tacoma truck.

I am in the process of buying a 2005 scion tC, traded in my mitsubishi lancer for it!

 

So after having my new 08tC since May i finally got some pictures up.









Ive signed for another 6 years with the Air National Guard so im going to use my bonus cash to pick up some mods. Let me know what you think. My ultimate goal is around 300-320 hp.


Greddy Turbo Kit w/ emanage ultimate and 550cc injectors
Enkei Wdm 18x8.5 front 18x9.5 rear with 225/40/18 + 265/35/18
Hotchkis sway bars and springs
Perrin Short throw shifter
Clutchmasters stage 3 clutch kit
Clutchmasters lightweight flywheel

Not sure what exhaust to pick up though. I like the borla because its throaty but i dont like rasp either. Just as long as I dont get a fart can.

So im thinking of buying a Scion and my 2 buddies (one has xB one has tC) both say theirs is better, I dont like the box look of the xB but my head touches the roof of the tC. I could use help deciding from you guys

 

How about the xD lol? Unless you have driven and been in both cars for a while, it's gonna be hard to tell IMO. I'd say do that. Test drive both cars a few time and take time to research and get into the cars. That should help.

 

The tC has a height adjustment on the driver's side. Was it in the lowest position when you tried it?

I just bought a 5-speed flint mica '08 tC coupla weeks ago, and absolutely love this car. Its also my first time driving stick, so there are sometimes where things get quite *unnerving*, but overall I'm quite happy.

lol, i don't even have 400 miles on the car and I already purchased some mods. Pedal covers and cargo net, boo yah!

oh, and even those its my first post, I've been lurking on this forum for a few months now, the info on this forum is just amazing and everyone here seems to be really helpful.

 

Hey folks, wanted to join up and basically lurk around a bit. I do not currently own a tC, but I am considering getting one. I'm interested in quite a bit of performance modifications geared for drag racing. I'd like to get into the high 12's, low 13's without teh NAAAWWSS (N2o is the wussy way to power IMO) so I'll lurk a while, look forward to participating.

i got a scion tc and i am in love with it its js the bad part i got the spec package with no sunroof =((

 

Why did you get a SPEC if you wanted a sunroof?

 

Just passing through and wanted to say that I can not wait for my 08' TC to come in. I fell in love with this car about a week ago, and have not looked at another car since. That sizzling crimson color won me over at the dealership as well.

Some extras that I ordered was the Ped spoiler, xm stereo, scion security(live in NY so I def need this) and get this.... Floor mats, LOL!!! Here in NY they order their scions without floor mats so you have to purchase them seperately. Funny stuff, but well worth it once i'm inside one driving it.


Now I just hope that it will ship soon enough so I can drive it this weekend

 

The dealership made me buy floor mats. Won't sell the car without those.

 

Hey, got my 08 TC a few days ago, got Tint and a Spoiler so far :D i have a list of 10g worth of mods i want to do... here comes a long project!

 

Anyone buy the Scion tC floor mats off of trdsparks? I was going to buy them from the dealership but they wanted $170! The ones on the site were only $80. Anyone have any pics of these in their tC?
