The "I AM GETTING / HAVE A NEW tC!!" Thread
Thats what they call the bone stock edition here. Steel wheels with plastic hubcaps and no glass in the roof.
$15900 for that model.
Couldnt see paying extra for rims when they wouldnt be on the car for more than a week.

i just stumbled upon this site a couple of days ago, i just picked up an 08 tC about a week ago and i was looking for a site exactly like this (my buddy has an 02 buick regal gs and he is a member of a similar performance forum). bravo to scionlife for the creation of this masterpiece.
i'll be around.

Also just stumbled into this site. Looking for info on TC's. I am shopping around for 1 right now. They seem like they are really good cars, with a strong foundation to build on. I currently own a 92 3KGT, a 74 Ford Gran Torino Elite w/ a 351 Clevland, and a 2K Mitsu Eclipse GS w/ a second gen turbo. All are great fun cars, except both the turbo cars are a little more maintenance. Looking for a base model myself, a little hard to find around here. Like others, no use paying for extra factory equip that won't be on the car very long. Anyways hello.
I just traded my 2001 audi a6 2.7t for a 2006 flint mica 5 speed tC yesterday. Im happy with it so far. A bit slower then what im used to but im hoping some of these cheap/free mods will help with that. I know i have a lot of reading to do. Thanks SL. Ill be lurking.

Hi, I'm from Long Island NY and I finally got my 2008 Scion Tc (to give my '06 Civic Si a break -I'm a stickler for mileage and paying for premium ga$). I placed the order for it on 9/1/07 and it finally came in this week. I would've gotten it faster had I not insisted on navigation & Blue Ribbon Metallic (as I placed the order for a Nautical Blue I caught a sample on the color chart in the corner of my eye and knew that was it). I've been lurking here since I placed the order and think this is a great site and the forum are incredibly informative. In the 48 hours I've had the car, I installed the full LED 3rd brake light, door sills, mud guards, floor/cargo mat & net, wheel locks, round mesh shift ****, and replaced every interior light with LEDs. I also have the OEM lightbar installed (nice but pricey) and should have the LED rear tail lights installed by the end of the week.
The site is great and I plan get acquainted!

Just bought a 2006 white tc. I may be one of the older owners (37), but I have had the car about 2 weeks and love it!! I am trying to restrain myself from making tons of mods since I really shouldn't be spending all that $$$, but I have always been one to make changes to any vehicle I own almost immediately.
