So, my first tC (08 FM manual) should be arriving in 2 and a half weeks. I'm way anxious. I was thinking of putting a new intake on it. Any recommendations? I see people saying injen is better, what makes it better? Just curious.

In my opinion injen is better because it sounds deeper, it doenst sound like a tin can, some other good ones r tsudo, greddy, trd, hks its really all about ur opinion, but me personally, i would go with injen...good luck btw 08 FM rule!

 

yeah Im not looking into getting anything too to loud. just better performance and gas milage, trying to get all i can.

But the GOOD NEWS is im gettin my new 09 super white tc in about two weeks. im just waiting for it to be delivered to the dealer. i cant wait. im actually trading in a 06 honda civic si, which is a great car, and i wouldnt mind keeping it, but the payments are just too expensive and my situation has changed from when i first bought it, so i can no longer afford it. but i've drivin the tc and i've liked it ever since it came out. it seems like a great car. i cant wait!

 

Yeah, so apparently the tC being shipped to me is a 2009. Thought it was going to be a 2008 because the paper the salesman filled out had '2008' written in but I checked the inventory sheet I got and its a 2009. woot! Won't be here until the end of May though

Anyone know the differences between the 2008 and the 2009?

aTTak, even though that '08 is new it lost some value since its old inventory, that '09 will aid your resale value down the road bro. You'll love the roof in the summer!

Newbie here, I'll be receiving my brand new 09 Sizzling Crimson TC 5 Speed with the upgraded taillights and a clear bra tomorrow afternoon.

I was a Jeep owner before this, heavily into 4 wheeling and modding my Jeep so this is quite a change for me, but hopefully this forum will help me as much as Jeepforum had in the past.
