i dont know man i was looking into a flip flop license plate, flip it out of view as your going through the light, flip it back once in the clear. its like $150 if remember right...

 

There are certainly ways to avoid getting caught in the first place, but now that you've been caught, it won't be easy to get out of. I know people who have received camera tickets here and who have tried to fight them, but I don't know anyone who has fought and won. If the driver in the picture looks like you then you will be totally SOL.

 

By the way, that's a really bad idea. They can hit you with some pretty hefty charges if you get caught doing that. Many red lights in the LA area now have video cameras rather than still cameras.

yeah man i requested a friday court date, cause they scheduled it the first week of class', then i was gonna get sent a new one, but after 90 days they are dismissed, they sent me a new one now but it is also right on the week of class' for my next semester, and I cannot miss class'. so now i have requested another friday date,

as far as i know, an officer will be present, I dont know why, lol an officer didnt give me a ticket haha but yeah i wasnt speeding, i owned up to the first one, cause i was the only car on the road haha

 

What is your defense? The officer will bring the data from the speed camera to show what your actual speed was. It will probably be a desk jockey who is experienced in working with the speed camera footage, so his testimony will be a lot more reliable than yours, as far as the judge is concerned.

i honestly remember that day, comming home from a show and i was going the speed limit i know this for a fact. how can a camera distinguish between cars, you see that red stang next to me, im thinking the cam got confused, plus im dead in traffic, it's ridiculous man.

these cameras are a real big issue, the mayor is the one that had them installed, and ppl are complaing about bull____z that are going on with them, some malfunctions and such. but what is funny, there are alot of cases goin on against these cameras, and even funnier, the mayor himself got caught speeding through one, did he pay,HELL NO, he played it off on the news, but yeah there is talk that monies will be reimbursed (sp) and they will be taken down.,...

in the first vid i just got off the free way, the off ramp is right there at that light a lil bit, i was going 70 on a 35 so umm yeah i fessed up ha

 

Well hey, maybe you can draw this out for long enough that the charges will be dropped if they are planning to reimburse people.

should have been dissmissed but money hungry ppl work it so i guess they want my $150 for bull ____t.

i know i wasnt speeding,

i even beat a street racing ticket in court in front of a lot of ppl, i embarrased the cop witch was playing lawyer lol.

i told everything that happned,


left pool hall, was driving next to my friend saw the officer parked at a lube place, passed him, he got into traffic, followed my friend for half a mile. lol moved into my lane lite me up.

the charge, "attempted street racing" the judge asked the cop how fast i was going, and he said, he visulay seemed to be going the speed limit. next words- CASE DISSMISSED hahaha

that day sucked court started at 7 pm, i got out at 2 in the morning

 

i dont understand why youre fighting it. if you wanna run red lights, which is ___ and dangerous, deal with the fact that you might get a ticket

i never ran a red light, the cams her are not just red light cams, but also "speed cams" and if i had run a red light i wouldnt have bothered fighting it.

but to those ppl that do run red lights i look at it this way,

some ppl run red lights, just driving, not caring if they stop or not.

some ppl the light changes on them half way through the intersection, and most cannot control if they stop or go cause they would be stopping in the middle of the intersection, this kinda stuff is un-avoidable.

you may argue the fact, but im most certain this has happned to a few of us.

So....Update!

I got to watch the video of my ticket I got..I was sure I could fight it..till I watched it...ok so I guess I am GULITY!...haha..I did a California roll and turn..I braked less than a second before turning..which sucks cuz I usually stop then go!!...ARGH!!!

The Bail amount?..Geezus almost had a Heart Attack!...

with Traffic School the Bail is $505!!!!!!!!!!!
