Default I have morning dew on the inside winsheild?!?!?!

ok, i have a problem. everytime my a/c is off, it seems to leave little spots of dew i believe on the "inside" front winsheild as in the pic. i circled where they are spotted

ill note that when im at work which is 8:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. i have my sunvisor on? in the moring it doesnt happen, its only when i leave from work or anyother time when im taking my visor off i see it. it wipes off but after wipping off everyday, it kinda gets old and frustrating! i went to the dealer and asked him to see what was going on, all he told me is to drop it off and they will look at it! he also put his hand on the defrosting vents and said nothings coming out, but he said their might be come kinda chemical on the winsheild? it gets really really frustrating! let me also note that i live in south texas where its freaking hot and we have very bad humidity! that could also be something to do with it. i want to know if anyone else has the same problem!

please help!

Butthead Voice~"He He, You said Dew"

But seriously, I'm in Texas too, I am not haveing a problem with this. (I also don't have a tC yet :D)

Clean the Inside and Outside of the window with simple Windex..try that.

You also said something may be wrong with your AC system?

i had this happen before too.. it is caused by the chemicals from the sun-shade being deposited on the inside surface of the windshield. In my case it was at the top of the windshield not the bottom, but either way it wouldn't happen when i didn't use the sunshade. No real defect here, it's the outgassing of the chemicals from the sunshade, because when i use the same sunshade now after so many years of having the shade, it doesn't happen.

You might try some rubbing alcohol on the sunshade itself to remove this residue that is interacting with the windshield.. strange stuff i know, at first when i got the shade i thought that i had some sort of moisture leakage in the winshield, nope not it.. hope that helps ya out..

yeah let me know if cleaning the sunshade with some rubbing alcohol solves the problem.. it's definitely coming from the sunshade material.. since it doesn't happen unless you use that in the windshield area..

If you've spilled anything in your car recently or maybe it rained and some water on your shoes collected on the carpet or mats - it's entirely possible that the liquid is evaporating in the hot car and collecting on the glass.

If you just run the defroster for a few minutes, does it clear up?

okay how about this.. it doesn't do it unless the sunshade is in the windshield.. so it's obviously the sunshade causing it.. how about buying a different sunshade? i know it sounds lame.. but might solve the problem..

Well, I wish I could help, but at least having morning dew on your windshield is better than having Mountain Dew on the inside of your windshield.
