Some tC's came with Denso Iridiums, some came with NGK's. Either way, the spark plug is a 100K mile wear item regardless. Having an s/c on the vehicle makes no difference. Whatever you do, keep with Iridium plugs.

Also, instead of making a useless thread title, if you put some thought into it you'll get better and faster results.

The spark plugs required for the s/c Scion tc are
Ngk Bkr7e or Denso k22pru. Gapped to .032

These are both COPPER plugs and rated for around 30k miles.
There's a reason why TRD chose copper plugs over iridium, if you do your research copper plugs can take more heat then iridium or platinum plugs.

I just purchase NGK BKR7E and change them often since they're so cheap and readily available at auto parts stores (napa).

Yeah same. Just did the spark plugs in the tC at like 76k, and replaced with these:

Not iridium, but they still work, just dont last as long.

Im close to 80k. And I'm installing the trd supercharger.

So kikaz-tc the ngk plugs that you said ngk BKR7E
Are those the same as the link I put its for ngk BKR7EIX-11 it says 1 step colder. I read some where that 1 step colder was good I don't know what thats all about. I'm all confused lol. And I don't know about gaping eaither.

The standard NGK BKR7E is a copper plug which is perfectly fine to use for up to 30k.
The link your talking about for the NGK BKR7EIX is just the iridium plug.
Both are 1 step colder plugs and both would work fine.

I've never purchased the BKR7EIX iridium plugs, I use the standard copper plugs BKR7E and they've always come pre-gapped at .032 but you should definitely check the gap on each plug before installing.

These are both wrong, do not use either of these plugs if you have the supercharger kit. They are not 1 step colder plugs. I believe these would be for a stock scion tc.

Red face

Only use NGK BKR7E or BKR7EIX & Denso K22PR-U, unknown part# for Denso iridiums.

DO NOT use BKR7E-11 or BKR7EIX-11, these are both wrong as well.

Yes, you will need to check the gap on whatever spark plug you choose to get.
I know the copper NGK BKR7E & Denso K22PR-U come pre-gapped at .032"
