One thing I'm scared about is breaking that stupid cover over the radio. I think I'm just going to leave it constantly open.

Seriously, the cover won't break, just go easy on it. It doesn't open too well but it won't fall appart either. Now, make sure u have no noises coming from your sunroof when you go over bumps. If you do, take it in to the dealer. I know this forum is huge, but just try reading some topics and see for yourself what people are saying about the tC. Enjoy your car :D

I just have a really hard time opening it. It just seems like for every twenty times I push it, it opens once. That's really the only thing I don't like.

I suggest you take your car to an empty parking lot and practice using the brakes. Maybe in the rain even. It seems that some people might not know what the brake pedal feels like when the ABS engages and it could be causing some problems in panic stop situations.

Thanks for the tip on the brakes, although it'll probably be months before we see rain again here. The Explorer I used to drive had ABS, so I think I should be good. You just hold them down and don't pump them, right? I know they'll start to kind of pulse on their own, but I think that's how they're supposed to work - it kind of freaked me out the first time I used them.

Heh heh, j/k. Maybe, um, don't push the throttle too hard on wet surfaces, it spins easily. Some ppl don't care for these Potenza's, but I like 'em.

Oh yeah, and seeing as these cars are new, if you get accessory body parts(spoiler, gfx, etc.) keep an eye on the new body parts: I guess the techs are new at installing these, and my front air dam was loose and had to be refitted... but it was no prob, since I took it in to have the spoiler and exhaust put in.

Be more careful on the roads... believe it or not, ppl stare and I've had a few close encounters with reckless drivers.

Park away from other cars.

Make sure you know all the specs and features by heart, because you're sure to get lots of people coming to ask you about them.

Default All options are in!

Just got all my options installed yesterday. 6 Disc, Security, Auto-Dim Mirror and the B-Pillar Applique. Gotta love the Cobalt color for the radio!

Next thing on the list, the Sub for the trunk and the SC when it is out :-)
