Default I need assistance..

So my mom just called me and told me that on her way to work she was following a truck when all the sudden a piece of a 2x4 metal beam got thrown up from the truck and struck her car going about 60 on the interstate... from what I hear her front end suffered pretty heavy damage (busted grille, ruptured bumber... oh and the emblem flew completely off.)

btw its a brand new 09' Corolla -_- yeh she's T'd off.
could someone refer me to a place to get a new emblem? I already found a grille and bumper.. but no emblem. Someone care to point me in the right direction? I tried mcGeorge and im not trying Ebay.

thanks, I might post pics later

Ebay is a good place to find a Toyota emblem

Like above stated, if the metal beam was in the truck and fell out then the truck driver will have to pay. If the beam was on the road and the truck kicked it up, then the truck driver is not at fault.

yeh she said that a truck in the lane next to her ran over the beam that was laying on the road and it flew into her front bumper on the left side.. It wasnt quite as bad as I thought so it only needs a new emblem. Her grille popped out of place but she was able to pop it back in.. and the impact just left huge scratches/nicks but it didnt penetrate the bumper. She may eventually get it repainted but its not too bad.

kinda weird how it was able to strike the side of the bumper and reach over to knock off the emblem.. O.o
