I say no, to a rwd tC
I know people have talked about it on these boards. Making a rwd tC will just bump the price up and won't make the tC the bargain that it is.
However, I say yes, to Toyota bringing back the Celica as a rwd. It WAS ORIGINALLY a rwd car. I wouldn't pay a dime for a $25,000 fwd Celica. However, make a rwd one... you can bet I'll be camping out at the dealerships.
Some people have talked about the IS rear end with the Camry 4cyl motor. That would be great, but how about tuning it to 200hp, who cares if torque drops a little.

+1 to everything everyone else said before me lol ... but ... when you say
What I hear is that you'd like to see a new Supra in the 25k - 30k range.
Odd coincidence that the same time Celica went FWD, the Supra was seperated from the Celica nameplate and established one of its own, in the RWD field.
A question for the gearheads, can our 2.4 be tuned to 200hp with OE? and still pass CA DOT? The RAV4 uses the same 2.4 tuned to 180 yea?
