Now that the tc2 has 6 gears, would the speed limit be greater than our cars? i think it should :s

In the absence of a speed governor, maybe. The car would need the power to continue climbing in 6th. But on both the 1st and 2nd gen, top speed is controlled electronically.

Why do you need to go 140.

I really just want either a) taller gears or b) ultimate or standalone so i can increase rev limit - which would also just so happen to raise top speed in 5th When im at the track, banging off the limiter at the top of 4th sucks - I tried shifting into 5th, but ended up with a lower trap - like 115 The highest trap I could get was a 117 but it was litterally slamming the rev limiter in 4th

The tC isn't even stable at 100. It feels like floating on a mass of air that can go wrong at any point.

Hmm I think it actually handles pretty well at 100 (on tanabe df210's - so nothing major suspension wise) - however getting over 120 it seems to get a little crazy I was talking about this with someone just the other day - I dont really think Id want to go ~160 in a tc

Of my last few vehicles to have owned and taken in the 100ish area, this one definitely feels the worst. My WRX was amazing around those, very solid. I dunno, I don't feel much too safe in the tC. Personal Preference.

Yea - out of anything ive driven - the Z06 definitely tops my list - perfectly stable at 160+ I wanted to hit 180 but we ran out of road The WRX is also a very good performer at high speeds. I can say the tc would be near the bottom, barring alot of suspension work

And the reason why my age group is branded as unsafe ____ drivers has now been solved, awsome.

Sorry youve never had a fast car I find it funny that the only people who talk ____ in threads like this, are the ones who've never had a fast car/bike/w/e - most of us don't go around driving 100+ every day. We go out to a place, where no one is around, and have some fun with our cars every now and again. I have been in one accident in my life - the one my car is currently getting repaired from - and I was rear ended going 5 mph turning into a parking lot :/ If you speed through traffic or in the city, you're a dumbass. If you go out to an area where you're the only car for over a mile on a divided highway and drop the hammer, I dont see anything wrong with that. Obviously there's nothing 100% safe about going excessively fast on any public road, or even the track for that matter, but doing it with some common sense on occasion, inst as bad as its made out to be.

If its not 100% safe why do you feel the need to risk other peoples safety just because you can't take the responsibility of driving. And no, if I had a "fast" car I still wouldn't drive like an A-hole. Hate to disappoint you.
