Default As if my day hadn't been hectic enough....

like the title says, my day was pretty crazy today...finals started this morning, and I had 3 just today, plus a lot of other crap that went down today...

but on top of all that, on my way to work...I got hit by a damn horse and buggy!!!

yeah, seriously...sitting at the train tracks, waiting for the gate to raise, then the next thing I know, I see this horse coming up behind me, swirving, and then I hear it...the infamous "crrsuhhhhhh" ...the horse and buggy ran off into a field and didn't stop, so I pulled over, called the cops (who didn't believe me at first), and assessed the damage...big @ss scratch on the corner of my rear bumper about 12 inches long and 3 inches or so high...pretty deep too. (I'll get a pic during the day tomorrow).

so that was my sad, yet unbelievable day...hopefully we can find the people and get them to pay...I don't think horse and buggies have insurance?.....but anyways....yeah, It wasn't funny at the time, but sitting here writing this, it seems just to funny to believe lol...

I was walking around Newport, RI (popular thing to do I guess, haha) and saw someone get taken out by a horse and buggy. They were on foot of course, but PLOW. Took them right out.

But back on topic, that is a pretty funny story. It'll be even better telling your kids when they get their first door ding or something.

Good luck, let us know what happens if you talk to the infamous driver/operator/jockey. I do believe they need insurance, the buggys i've seen had license plates. Just in case they, somehow, by chance crash into someone and throw them 15ft or even crash into someones car.

So when you get insurance for a Horse and buggy....Do they ask what type of horse it is?

Did you notice the person lives in Pennsylvania?

Sounds like no matter what you wont get the money. Use to live in Ohio. Amish don't even have to pay taxes, so I'd say you just got screwed. Even if you know who it is, you have no evidence. I'd be watching for them though, and return the favor, but with your 160 horses.
