lol i love my GF but i would never buy her a car...love is not about buying things for them. Your love is no stronger than anyone elses just because you bought her a car...im just trying to warn you, that you might regret it!
When I bought my 2010 BSP back in August 09 the dealer had about 5 brand new 08 tC's that were the Waveline Pearl color. The sales guy said they couldn't sell them because people told him they didn't like the color. Could also be because it cost the same as my 2010.
As for custom ordering an older frame with the new engine hahahaha. Thats funny. 2 different sized cars, 2 different engines, etc etc etc.
I also prefer my 2010 over the 2nd Gen ones

Why dont you just wait and Buy the FR-S for yourself and have your girlfriends Daddy worry about getting her a car. Thats kind of crazy Buying your 20 year old girlfriend a NEW! car not even used. I dont know i guess you really love her ha I hope she doesnt F you over in the end man. The things we will do for a Lady lol

I think he wanted to get the 1st Gen shell and drop a 2nd Gen Engine... I dont understand why i mean his girl isn't going to know the difference any ways. Just save yourself time and money and buy a 1st Gen Tc and why does it have to be New? A Tc with 5000 miles its going to drive like new any ways i bet it will still even have the new car smell lol

I'm going to buy my girlfriend a new scion for her 20th birthday in Feburary, the only thing is, she doesn't like the new body styles. Is there any way I can special order the older body brand new and drop it on the new engine, frame and everything? It's vital that everything is brand new with no miles on anything at all. Any help will greatly help!

btw... your gf, if she remotely cared about you.. wouldn't care if it was a 1st gen or 2nd gen, but the MERE FACT you were crazy enough to even buy a car for her should have been enough. if she can't appreciate that, then you have other issues.
