For instance the Vitz(Yaris) in Europe has two extra brake lights in the bumper, they have a better looking bumper but there are more lights in it....lol

actually its the red turn signals that are illegal. In Europe you need an Amber turn signal. Im not sure how he got it registered and everything. I mean there are other things on it that are illegal in europe. Headlights, no rear fog lights etc. pretty surprised how little modding they did to those cars and still got them on the road.

TYC tails and an Oznium 3rd Brake light and you're legal! HAHA!

since u ppl seem really interested in european regulations, i might provide you with some clarity..
the european road requirements are set by the EU and (as far as i know) the same at all EU members.
you dont have to have a bigger or an extra stop light. u must have a rear fog light. also as mentioned before, turn signals ought to be amber. on the side of the car there has to be turn signals (so ppl that are facing ur car directly from right or left, would see u r turning). tc has its signals in mirrors, so that helps! also front lights have to output more light to the right side of the road (usdm headlights illuminate like this "__ __" and eudm cars headlights illuminate like this "__/ __/"
heres a pic of my cars rear end, it has everything done to it and is road legal in here.

on the rear bumper there are: rear fog light (on the left) and a reverse light (on the right). also notice that my rear turn signals are orange (where reverse light originaly is). therefore original red turn signals remain unused.

well not that i know, to be frank.. most of ppl here in lithuania, leave their tCs stock (about 6 tC owners i know personally). i saw only pix of a turbod tC in lithuanian celica club forum. however, i know nothing additional about it.
i would like to point it out, that its quite a unique car in here. and not much ppl know it (although i believe tC is by a mile the best car for young-males' first car in its pricerange and the xB n other x'es are perfect corolla replacements). it being unique with its stock appereance kind of reduces the encouragement to perform mods to it. also price difference plays a part - as far as i looked, prices for shipping are usually at least double the price of a part.

if im seeing this correct, your turn signals are in the reverse light spot? What'd you do for your headlights?

youre seeing it correctly. however my headlights remain unchanged, the law allowed front headlights to be like whatever for cars registered before 2009-01-01. ive got my car since 2008 january, so i kind of got lucky and dont have to worry about that. still, people will pay little bribe money so their tcs still will be registered..
or.. there are some DIYs how to change ur headlights beam if u got projector (which i dont). newer tcs have it or u can always buy halo lights to modify them (guides arent really made for tcs, ive seen em for celicas 7gen)

ahhh interesting. Reason i ask is because my uncle and I were thinkin about starting an import buisness. Me being on the American side and him being on the polish side. We kinda got stuck at the headlight point tho. That's interesting. is theft bad on our cars in Europe. I wouldn't imagine it would be since the cars are so rare and you can't really part them out.

well if u manage to make at least a one pair of headlights that are road legal here, u may swap it everytime with stocks that u have in a car when going through technical comission or something. you should ask for advice at scion.pl and ill ask the lithuanian importers.

When I was in Europe, I noticed a lot of cars only had one reverse light, like yours Edgaras. You only have to have one reverse light?

I think you only need one reverse light period. Even in the states. Doesn't the xB2 only have one reverse light?

Did you see any JDM cars in Canada? Whenever I go to Canada I always see a bunch of JDM cars imported there. Tons of R32 GT-Rs, Toyota Soarers, etc...

Default scion in europe

just to add my bit, I am in London, UK and we have a few Toyota bB's here...including mine. Japanese imports are big business in the UK because they drive on the same side etc. The Japanese have stringent laws on age and emissions so they have to change their cars out when a few years old, UK being a bit (read slightly) more lax bring them over and run them with a few changes to the speedo, the addition of a rear fog light and that's about it! love mine.....
