Dont you guys hate how popular the tC is? I know it gets to me. I see lik 2 others every day.

now for the question....

how many tCs are being sold compared to say....the civic coupe and the mustang? I ask because i know i see way to many of these around. If anyone could find some numbers that would be great.

locally here, i see way more Tc's then civic coupes......but i do see alot of civic sedans.

as for the Tc, i think when people drive them vs. a LX or Ex civic coupe they tend to like the overall value the Tc has. I see a mix of alot of demographics driving the Tc, old, young women men etc.
For the price it appeals to alot of people........Tc's unfortunatly are becoming a dime a dozen, they are what the older civics were 2-3 years ago.....

yea, ever since I started planning my tC purchase a few weeks ago I've noticed every single tC on the road... it gets ridiculous that I always spot them, whether I want to or not

When I was living in California I would see them all over the place. Luckily here in the Tennessee people are big on American cars so it's not so bad.

I continue to feel special.

Yeah, I didnt really notice them until I purchased mine, but then again what do you expect, a stylish car that you can mod out for cheep and it gets great gas milage? its gona be popular. And it got Consumer Reports top picks, 89 out of 100

That's what I love about the car. Here in Phoenix there are a bunch, but you need to make your's your own. Yeah, you are gonna see those peopel driving em because it is low priced and a great value, but at the Scionetics meets, not a single one looks like someone elses. We all put our own input into them and make it ours.

Just go to town and have a blast making your tC your own special edition.

The more that are bought and wrecked (which is a lot!!), means cheap motors for the boosted folk, if they ever blew their engine...

yea i think i deffinatly do notice it much more because i have one and i'm obsessed with it. im just complaining. i guess i cant have a lotus elise so il just keep saving up for my baby. the ever growing popularity does kindof make me want to go more for the exterior parts first rather than making it faster.

I'm not bashing on you JpJohn, but you brought up a good point. It's that state of mind that will turn the tC into a Civic status tuner over time. I'm sure that you won't buy a 4 foot tall wing with cardboard bodykit . People get tired of seeing cars exactly like theirs on the road, so they go for exterior mods to stand out...which is completely logical. But when it gets to the point where owners "cut corners" with their exterior mods (bondo kits...), the tC will gain a Civic-like reputation. It's unfortunate, but it's the cycle that car models go through. Again, please don't take offense, I was only elaborating on the point that you brought up JpJohn.

I've been researching cars for a while. Getting tired of paying $3.00 plus a gal for gas for a lift equiped van that only gets only 11MPG. I really didn't think the tC was gonna be big enough for Me, two teen age boys and My wheelchair. But I really liked the car, so thought what the hell. Went to the dealership and checked one out. Funny thing is, there was more room in this than any other smaller two door I tried, including an 05 mustang.

By now I was seeing more and more of the tCs on the road. For Me a good comprimise was getting the RS2. That way, no matter how many are out there, I know I am one of only 2600

i feel pretty content... seeing the stock ones.. and the lightly modded ones... then i just feel better than myself.. since noone is boosted around here... yet.. i just gotta beat everyone to that.. and i'll be fine.
