Crazy, that's exactly how my car looked Sunday morning in the Pittsburgh area. I was gonna take some pics, but had to hurry, scrape and move my car for someone.

Install took about 16 hours for the full 1/4" thickness, mostly unattended.

I should be getting another installed tonight according to the weatherman.

I did get a video of some of the sheets falling off, need to figure out what format it's in though...stupid phone.

I was going to say the same thing, but then I thought the ice shield might prove to be too much and rattle the car to pieces only leaving the ice shield. . . am I overthinking this? lol

 

I don't think we could all fit in California, kind of overcrowded all ready lol. Plus, it's too expensive.

When I had my old car down at SIU, we had an ice storm like that, except it actually got so thick, it covered the gap from the bottom of the car to the ground and was close to 2 inches thick in some places. I decided to ice skate to class that day.
